History:

Composed by Tomiyama Seikin I in November 1966, with lyrics by Ōno Keizō. Commissioned by Osaka Broadcasting System.
A shamisen song in traditional harvest festival style.
The song describes the annual events of Edo. It was created to combine the older "December of the Capital" and "December of Naniwa" to form "December of the Three Capitals."
This work won the Encouragement Award in the Broadcasting Division of the 1966 Arts Festival.
