Kikuhiro Chise (Ōnishi Kiyoko) was born in Ibaraki Prefecture, March 6, 1929. She studied Ikuta-ryū shamisen and koto under Kikuzuka Chigaku (Kikuzuka III) and became a teacher in 1966. She was a member of the Shunjū-kai, president of the Chise-kai, and a director of the Ibaraki Sankyoku Kyōkai.
