Koyama Kinkei

Koyama Kinkei (Koyama Sue) was born in Aichi Prefecture, August 30, 1893. She studied Ikuta-ryū shamisen and koto under Kōbe Sue, Idei Seikin, and Abe Keiko, earning her teaching credentials in 1928. Active as a performer and teacher for more than 50 years, she was head of the Kinkei-kai and vice president of the Ibaraki Sankyoku Kyōkai.
