Sasaki Toyō

Born in Osaka, December 2, 1908, Sasaki Toyō (Sasaki Hisako) studied Ikuta-ryū shamisen and koto under Kishioka Kengyō and Nakamura Sōyō I. She began teaching in 1955, was head of the Toyō-kai, and affiliated with the Yōfū-kai.
