Sakaiso Yaeko II (Otani Kimiko) was born March 22, 1925 in Nara Prefecture. She studied Ikuta-ryū shamisen and koto under Sakaiso Yaeko I, earning her masters license in 1955. Head of the Sakaiso-kai, she was an active performer and teacher for over 40 years.
