Shibazaki Sōsumi

Born in Tokyo, February 7, 1913, Shibazaki Sōsumi (Shibazaki Sumiko) studied Ikuta-ryū shamisen and koto under Nosaka Sōju I, earning her teaching license in 1953. She was head of the Mijuzu-kai, a member of the Matsunomi-kai, and a council member of the Nihon Sankyoku Kyōkai.
