Shimazaki Shigeyo
島崎 栄代

Born in Ibaraki, November 23, 1909, Shimazaki Shigeyo (Shimazaki Yoneko) studied Ikuta-ryū shamisen and koto under Gotō Miho, Yamakawa Kōtō, Yonekawa Fumiko I, and Matsuo Keiko. She started teaching in 1942. She was a permanent director of the Ibaraki Sankyoku Kyōkai and president of the Wakae-kai.
