Shimizu Fumiko
清水 文子

Born in Hokkaidō, June 9, 1919, Shimizu Fumiko studied Ikuta-ryū shamisen and koto under Endō Sōkin, Miyagi Michio, Miyagi Kiyoko, and Miyagi Kazue. She started teaching in 1937. A member of the Miyagi-kai, she performed and taught for more than 40 years.
