Suda Ikyō

Suda Ikyō (Suda Kimi) was born in Otaru City, October 11, 1917. She studied Yamada-ryū shamisen and koto under Suda Taei and Imai Keishō, receiving her masters license in 1931. An active performer and teacher for more than 50 years, she was chairperson of the Wakana-kai and a board member of the Otaru City Sankyoku Association.
