Sugimoto Kyōko

Born in Kyōto City, October 26, 1949, Sugimoto Kyōko studied Ikuta-ryū shamisen and koto under Fukumori Toshiko. A member of the Kyōto Eiraku-kai, she received the Skill Award at the National Koto Competition in 1963 and the Kyōto City Mayor's Award in 1967.
