Takase Etsuko

Takase Etsuko was born in Aichi Prefecture, May 1, 1916. She studied Ikuta-ryū koto and shamisen under Miyagi Michio and started teaching in 1937. Both a performer and teacher for over 50 years, she was a council member of the Miyagi-kai and head of the Okazaki Miyagi-kai.
