Tan’no Kinuse (Tan’no Kinu) was born in Sapporo, Hokkaido, September 28, 1911.
She studied Yamada-ryū koto and shamisen under Seki Kikusei and Ishizaki Chizusei (Yamasei lineage).
Started teaching in 1962.
She belonged to the Seiga-kai, Kikumi-kai, and Sanwa-kai.Yamada-ryū
