Tsugawa Miyako

Tsugawa Miyako (Hase Miyako) was born in Higashi-Osaka City, January 11, 1920. She studied Ikuta-ryū koto and shamisen under Tsuyoshi Akiko and began teaching in 1940. A member of the Osaka Kotonae-kai, she was active as a performer and teacher for almost 50 years.
