Shakuhachi

Studied with Kawase Junsuke I and Teshigawara Fuyutomo. Assumed the title of Kawase Junsuke II and iemoto of the Chikuyusha school after his father's death in 1959. Was also Executive Director of the Kinko-ryū Kyōkai and a director of the Nihon Sankyoku Kyōkai.
He was an active presence in the shakuhachi community for over 50 years.
