Born June 7, 1936, Toyoda Tamayukisei (Toyoda Kayoko) studied Ikuta-ryū koto and shamisen under Ōwada Gyokutei, and received her teaching credentials in 1970. She belonged to the Shiki-on-kai and was head of the Kyōbi-on-kai.
