Narahashi Yoshikatsu (Narahashi Katsuko) was born in Chiba Prefecture, September 10, 1899. She studied Yamada-ryū koto and shamisen under Yamada Hanju and Shimizu Yoshizumi, earning her teaching license in 1948. She belonged to the Seishin-kai and was active as a performer and teacher for more than 65 years.
