Born in Osaka Prefecture, February 20, 1909, Nakafumi Eikin (Okamoto Fumiko) studied Ikuta-ryū koto and shamisen under Nakahira Fukunoto, earning her teaching license in 1921.
She was the head of the Eikin-kai and a director of the Osaka Sankyoku Kyōkai.
