Born in Yamaguchi Prefecture, August 25, 1914, Nakamura Fusako studied Ikuta-ryū koto and shamisen under Tsukamoto Ineko, Hirayama Kengyō, and Watanabe Sumiko. She belonged to the Ju-kai and Miyagi-kai and was active as a performer and teacher for more than 40 years.
