Nojima Tomo

Born in Hamamatsu, September 1, 1903, Nojima Tomo studied Ikuta-ryū koto and shamisen under Miyagi Michio. She began teaching in 1937, and was active as both a performer and teacher for more than 50 years. She belonged to the Hamamatsu Miyagi-kai, and was a director of the Hamamatsu Sankyoku Kyōkai.
