Born April 24, 1915 in Tokyo, Hayashi Masano (Hayashi Takako) studied Yamada-ryū koto and shamisen under Uehara Masaki II. She started teaching in 1948, belonged to the Shinmasō-kai, and was a counselor of the Japan Sankyoku Association.
