Hayashi Hisako

Born June 28, 1917 In Niigata Prefecture, Hayashi Hisako studied Ikuta-ryū koto and shamisen under Suzuki Tamiko (classical music) and Hisamoto Genchi (new music), earning her Shihan (teaching license) in 1948. She was the head of the Shōsō-kai and belonged to the Tōdō Ongaku-kai and the Gensō-sha.
