Hasegawa Fumichisa (Hasegawa Setsuko) was born July 17, 1929. She studied Ikuta-ryū koto and shamisen under Yonekawa Fumiko I and began teaching in 1955. She graduated from the 6th class of the NHK Ikusei-kai and belonged to the Sōchō-kai.
