Hirata Masatoyo (Hirata Toyoe) was born October 10, 1911. During her more than 50-year career, she was an Ikuta-ryū Grand Master, Headmaster of the Seiha Hōgaku-kai, council member and advisor of the Nihon Sankyoku Kyōkai, and Head of the Seiha Masatoyo-kai.
