Born February 16, 1945 in Osaka Prefecture, Mimoto Kakō (Mimoto Sachiko) studied Ikuta-ryū koto and shamisen under Yamamoto Karyō (Chikushi Katsuko lineage). She started teaching in 1963 and belonged to the Chikushi-kai and Shion-kai.
