Born July 19, 1914 in Nagoya City, Mori Kimiko studied Ikuta-ryū koto and shamisen under Satō Masakazu and Satō Kimiko. She started teaching in 1946 and belonged to the Kokufū Ongakkai. She was an active teacher and performer for more than 50 years.
