Jinbo Kajū (Jinbo Sadaoki) was born January 17, 1900 in Gunma Prefecture. He studied Yamada-ryū koto and shamisen under Kiga Yoshijū and started teaching in 1924. With a career spanning more than 50 years, he was president of the Fuyō-kai, a council member of the Nihon Sankyoku Kyōkai, and president of the Gunma Sankyoku Kyōkai.
