Born October 6, 1942 in Aichi Prefecture, Reimei Yoshiko (Hiratsuka Yoshiko) studied Ikuta-ryū koto and shamisen under Reimei Toshiko and Hiratsuka Yoshio. She started teaching in 1955 and belonged to the Reimei-kai, and was executive director of the Kōrei Hōgaku-kai.
