Born January 9, 1910, Takahashi Reishin (Takahashi Tokunosuke) studied Kinko-ryū shakuhachi under Aoki Reibo and his eldest son, Aoki Michio. He began teaching in 1960 and was a member of the Reibo-kai for more than 40 years.
