Naka Kagetsu (Kyorei) was born March 13, 1911. He started teaching in 1960. During his 50-year career he belonged to the Meian Rōgetsu-ha, was the head of the Amatsu Meian temple branch in 1940, the Kumamoto Prefecture branch head in 1955, and founded the Meian Ginrei-ha in 1960.
