Nishi Suiho

Born April 24th, 1924 in Toyama Prefecture, Nishi Suiho (Nishi Kōzō) studied Chikuho-ryū shakuhachi under Sakai Chikuō (Chikuho I). He started teaching in 1969 and received the 1970 Expo Memorial Award. He was a member of the Seibi-kai.
