Watanabe Kodō
渡辺 虚童

Born 11/12/1907 in Oita Prefecture, Watanabe Kodō (born Watanabe Rokurō) studied Kinko-ryū shakuhachi with Matsumoto Kodō and Wakamatsu Godō. He was a member of Suehiro-kai and Doyu-kai. His shakuhachi career spanned more than 40 years.
