Kojima Tomiho (Kojima Tomiko) was born in Tokyo, December 15, 1906. She studied Ikuta-ryū shamisen and koto under Inagaki Takeko and received her teaching license in 1936. A performer and teacher for more than 50 years, she was an executive member of the Inaho-kai and auditor of the Suginami Sankyoku Kyōkai.
