Kōno Hagika
河野 萩香

Born in Tokyo, June 12, 1907, Kōno Hagika (Kōno Masa) studied Yamada-ryū shamisen and koto under Hagioka Shōin I and received her Shihan (masters license) in 1930. She was a member of the Hagioka-kai and a council member of the Nihon Sankyoku Kyōkai. She spent more than 50 years as a performer and teacher.
