Shibahara Tomoko

Born in Tokyo, January 15, 1930, Shibahara Tomoko studied Ikuta-ryū shamisen and koto under Furuya Tomizō and Furuya Yasue. She started teaching in 1956. She graduated from the Koto Department of the Tokyo University of the Arts and the NHK Hōgaku Training Program, and was a member of the Hōyū-kai.
