Takahashi Kasei

Born July 19, 1921, Takahashi Kasei (Takahashi Shizuko) studied Ikuta-ryū koto and shamisen under Chikushi Katsuko, earning her teaching license in 1939. She was a member of the Chikushi-kai and was active as a performer and teacher for more than 40 years.
