Tatenishi Seijō
権西 晴城

Born in Osaka, March 30, 1913, Tatenishi Seijō (Yabumoto Kikue) studied Ikuta-ryū koto and shamisen under Tateshiro Mamoru, earning her teaching credentials in 1929. She was a member of the Sōkyoku-gaku Koto-kai and was a director of the Osaka Sankyoku Kyōkai. She was a performer and teacher for over 40 years.
