Born September 13, 1902 in Saitama Prefecture, Mori Sadae (Mori Sadako) studied Ikuta-ryū koto and shamisen under Tanaka Fujie and Futamata Shizuko (Kitani Toshie lineage). She started teaching in 1954 and belonged to the Futabakai. She was an active teacher and performer for almost 60 years.
