Robin Tamura has been dedicated to playing the shakuhachi since 2019, training as a junior-level instructor under Grandmaster Sean Tairyu Head. He enjoys both traditional and contemporary shakuhachi music, valuing the instrument’s timeless depth and expressive potential. Robin's teaching is informed by his work as a transformative coach and yoga teacher, as well as his studies of Buddhism and other spiritual systems.
