Born January 12, 1912 in Hiroshima Prefecture, Yoshida Eizan (Yoshida Tomiichi) studied Tozan-ryū shakuhachi under Inoue Baizan. Received his instructors license and began teaching in 1950. Former president of the Tozan-ryu Eishin-kai. Belonged to the Fukuoka Prefecture branch of Tozan-ryu Shakuhachi Gaku-kai.
