Fujishiro Fumitsuna (Fujishiro Noriko) was born May 30, 1940 in Chiba Prefecture. She studied Ikuta-ryū koto and shamisen under Yonekawa Fumiko I and began teaching in 1960. A recipient of the Minister of Education's Encouragement Award, she belonged to the Sōchō-kai, and was a councillor of the Nihon Sankyoku-kai.
