Born in Tokushima Prefecture in 1904. Blind at the age of four. Studied Ikuta Ryū koto and Nogawa Ryū Jiuta with Nakajima Haru. In 1928 moved to Tokyo and studied with Kawase Satoko and Miyagi Michio. Moved to Osaka in 1934. Died on May 7, 1969.
