Kikuzuka Toshiko

Born in Ōsaka Prefecture, June 28, 1913, Kikuzuka Toshiko studied Ikuta-ryū shamisen and koto under Kikuzuka Chigaku. She started teaching in 1947. A teacher and performer for more than 50 years, she was a director of the Nihon Tōdō Ongaku-kai, and president of the Chigaku-kai and Shunju-kai.
