Koyama Toshiko was born in Nagano Prefecture, July 31, 1927.
She studied Ikuta-ryū shamisen and koto under Tokutake Taneko and received her teaching license in 1950.
She was affiliated with the Tōdō Ongaku-kai and Kinwa-kai.
