Satō Gin

Born in Nagoya City, April 18, 1903, Satō Gin studied Ikuta-ryū shamisen and koto under Satō Masakazu and Satō Kimiko, earning her Shihan (masters license) in 1924. She was a member of the Kokufū Ongaku-kai and was an active performer and teacher for more than 60 years.
