Nozoe Sōō
野副 箏桜

Born in Fukuoka Prefecture, July 14, 1899, Nozoe Sōō (Nozoe Tosae) studied Ikuta-ryū koto and shamisen under Wada Takeyuki. She began teaching in 1927 and belonged to the Chidori-kai. She was both a performer and a teacher for more than 60 years.
