Miyagi Tamae

Miyagi Tamae was born September 5, 1927 in Tokyo. She studied Ikuta-ryū koto and shamisen under Miyagi Shinzō and began teaching in 1945. She was Vice-president of the Kinrei-kai and became the koto instructor at Edogawa Girls' High School.
