Hashimoto Gyōdō (Hashimoto Tokusaburō) Born on March 20, 1899 in Aomori Prefecture. During his more than 40 year career he studied Kinko-ryū shakuhachi under Ōtsuka Seigi and Motoki Ōdō (Kawase lineage) and opened his door to students in 1959. He was a long time member of the Kobe Hatsune-kai.
