Fujita Chikasayo

Born March 7, 1927 in Tokyo, Fujita Chikasayo (Fujita Sayoko) studied Ikuta-ryū koto and shamisen under Satō Chikaki and Inoue Michiko. She belonged to the Shiragiku-kai and was head of the Aoba-kai. She was active as a performer and teacher for more than 40 years.
