Sasaki Motoyo

Sasaki Motoyo was born in Akita Prefecture January 30, 1960. She studied Ikuta-ryū shamisen and koto under Sasaki Akie and received her Shihan (masters license) in 1969. She was a director of the Japan Music Research Association. She won the Grand Prize at the Sankyoku Performance Competition in 1970.
