Tanaka Fumisei

Born November 24, 1936, Tanaka Fumisei (Tanaka Seiko) studied Ikuta-ryū koto with Yonekawa Fumiko I, composition with Fujii Bondai, flute with Yamakawa Naoharu, and new music with Ono Mamoru. She began teaching in 1960. A graduate from the NHK Traditional Japanese Music Development Course, she was affiliated with the Sōchō-kai.
